County Association

The Crawford County Association of Township Officials serves the 35 Second-Class Townships located in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is governed by Article XIV, Section 1401 of the Second Class Township Code.

The Association was formed for the purpose of considering and discussing questions and subjects pertaining to the best methods for the improvement of the township governments, the assessment of property, the collection of taxes, the construction, improvement and maintenance of roads and the promotion of mutual cooperation among the member townships.

The Association holds a Semi-Annual Meeting (Spring Convention) the 4th Wednesday in May and an Annual Convention (Fall Convention) the 4th Wednesday in October of each year. The Spring Convention is a dinner evening event that enables each person authorized under the Crawford County Association of Township Officials Bylaws to attend with their spouse/guest, while the Fall Convention is a full-length daytime event that enables each person authorized under the Bylaws to attend. Spouses/guests are not invited to our Fall Convention, as it is considered a working event for which all expenses are paid by the Association.
