Board of Auditors

The Board of Auditors is comprised of three (3) township residents who are elected for staggered six-year terms.

The duties of the elected auditors are outlined out in the Second-Class Township Code and include, but are not limited to, auditing and settling the Township’s financial accounts to ensure that Township funds are properly expended and accounted for.  They also prepare and file the Township’s annual audit, as well as set the compensations for the Supervisors working as employees for the Township.

The Board of Auditors meets on the first day of the year following the Supervisors’ Reorganization Meeting, and then meets for numerous weeks during the first quarter of the year to conduct and prepare the audit.

If you have any questions regarding the Township’s Board of Auditors, please contact the Municipal Building at (814) 398-8327 or email cambridgetwp@verizon.net.
